Description:

Built in 1964 as the Gustav Vasa for Lion Ferries of Halmstad this vessel later became the Wawel for Polferries and was used on the Malmo-Travemund route. She finally succumbed to the cutters torch in Aliga ,Turkey in 2004 . Thanks to Naucler, Paproch and Adawo for the information

Hi, this is WAWEL (IMO no 6507490), built in 1965 as GUSTAV VASA for Lion Ferry, sailing as WAWEL for Polferries 1973-1988. Scraped at Alang in 2004.
