Description:
The Esso Geneva at the MOT Terminal, around 1987. This photo shows the ship when she carrying the Esso Geneva name for the second time. She was delivered by Kawasaki in 1975 (#1192) as such, but became AL-DURIYAH in 1977, then ESSO AL-DURIYAH in 1983, before becoming ESSO GENEVA again in 1984. Ten years later she became just GENEVA and in 1997 she was sold to greek interests and renamed Amazon Falcon. She was finally converted to an FPSO in the beginning of the 21st century and started operating as FPSO FALCON (non-propelled) at the Yoho field offshore Nigeria in 2002. In 2009 she was laid up at Singapore and sold from there to Alang, where she arrived in early 2016 and was broken up by Priya Blue.
