Description:
The 1949 Blyth built BENMHOR, which had been delivered to Lancashire Shipping Company for its round the world service centred on the United States and was purchased by Ben Line in 1952, is seen passing Gravesend, inbound for London's Royal Docks exactly fifty years ago today, on 12th February 1972 during a voyage from Antwerp to Bangkok.
BENMHOR finally arrived at Kaohsiung on 22nd March 1973 for breaking.
