Description:
The Panamax bulkcarrier Eternity Venture was delivered by China Shipbuilding (Tw) to Wah Kwong and is shown here incoming Rotterdam in Ditlev-Simonsen colors, obviously on a time charter.
In 1986 she was renamed Queen Nora and in the same year she became Clymene, operated by Hadley Shipping. She stayed in the fleet for twelve years, until sold to Greek interests and renamed Syros.
She was only scrapped in 2011, giving this ship a 30 years long trading life, not bad for an average bulker.
Former name(s):
- Clymene (Until 1998 Jun)
- Eternity Venture (Until 1986)
