Nordik Express was sold without legal warranty and for an undisclosed sum by Groupe Desgagnés to Grimston World Inc., a company from the Dominican Republic.
The 47 year old ship has been renamed RD Express and will ferry passengers and cargo between Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic under the flag of Panama.
