Description:

VEB Deutsche Seereederei of Rostock's 1964 Warnemünde built WILHELM FLORIN, one of the first of the X type, an XA type built for DSR delivered with deck cranes, was here photographed arriving at Avonmouth from Port Sudan exactly fifty years ago today, on Saturday 8th April 1972. The deck cranes were later replaced with derricks.
