Description:
The U.S.S.R.'s Azov Shipping Company's Zhdanov (now Mariupol) registered POLTAVA, built in 1962 by Nosenko Shipyard at Nikolaev (Mykolaiv, Ukraine) , is seen departing from Liverpool on 13th April 1986 following discharge of a cargo of rice bran from Pakistan.
POLTAVA was originally registered at Archangel, and later at Odessa. Can anyone advise in which years she was transferred to Odessa and Zhdanov please?
POLTAVA was beached at Alang on 21st August 1989 for breaking.
