Description:

Launched 23 May 1944 at Dundee by Caledon SB&EngCoLtd., hull 405, for the Ministry of War Transport, London. Transferred 1945 to the Government of the Netherlands and delivered as *Terborch.* 496’6” x 64’5” x 29’8.25;” 9894 gt, 4134 nt; twin Metropolitan-Vickers steam turbines geared to a single shaft, 6600-bhp.

Later *Eemdijk* (1946), *Eemdyk* (1953), *Orient Merchant* (1960), and *Zambezi* (1965). Broken up at Kaohsiung, 1967-68.

Shown June 1962 at Lake Calumet Harbor, Chicago, Illinois, USA, with a deck cargo of EMD Diesel locomotives for delivery to Saudi Arabia, while owned by Orient Mid-East Lines, Inc., Piraeus.
