Launched 15 March 1956 at Grangemouth by Grangemouth DYCoLtd. as hull no. 519 for the Hall Corporation of Canada, Ltd., Montreal. 252.8’ x 44 x 20.8; 2334 gt, 1562 nt; twin 7-cylinder MAN Diesels, 235mm x 330, 1200-bhp.

Later *Westcliffe* (1973. Reportedly broken up, 1986.

Shown May 1966 at lock 3, Welland Canal, Ontario, Canada.

If anyone can tell me the location of her demolition, I would be very grateful.

Her Sister ship was the Eaglescliffe Hall, I worked on both during construction age18 as app Engineer, one of then Sank in the Great Lakes, the other was converted to a Lightship. (I Think )

Great photo.Nice to see some of these old cannelers posted here.Nice looking little ship I must say.This one was tied up in Kingston in the 60,s at the La Salle Causeway along with the Stonefax, for a long time before she disappeared. 8-)

Excellent photos you are posting.

All I know is that in 1982 she was owned by Dunbar II, Ltd of Panama and had been flagged in Panama since 1979..
