Description:

The „biggest ship in the world“, „Pioneering Spirit“, seen while leaving the port of Rotterdam two days ago, on August 20th, 2022, with destination Dolwin field. A wind farm in the North Sea near the german island of Borkum. The vessel is loaded with the substation „Dolwin Kappa“, including the appropriate substructure, which will be installed in the upcoming days. The substation was built by Siemens Energy in Cadiz, Spain and shipped to Rotterdam. The „Pioneering Spirit“ is simply a gigantic vessel with unbelievable dimensions, and it’s always breathtaking to see the vessel passing by.
