Yard: Sun Shipbuilding & Drydock Company at Chester, USA, yard# 557, launched 9 August 1946, trials 17 & 18 October 1946. Warbuilt type C3.
8354 grt, 4852 nrt, 12360 dwt, 149.96 x 21.21 x 8.89 m, two turbines, 8500 hp, 16.5 knots, 12 passengers.
October 1946 sold to Netherlands Government as replacement for sunk Dutch merchant vessels during WW2, intended naam GELDERLAND. Next month over to S.M.N. as RONDO. July 1970 to Koninklijke Nedlloyd NV at Rotterdam, owner remained S.M.N. July 1971 laid-up at Amsterdam. Arrival at Kaohsiung for demolition 10 December 1971, scrapped by Long John Industry Company Ltd.
