Description:
KADMILOS is here seen passing Portishead on Saturday 18th November 1972 outbound from Avonmouth for Ireland after discharging a part cargo of animal feedstuffs from India.
She had been built in 1948 by William Gray at Hartlepool and delivered to Suisse Atlantique of Basel, who named her GENERAL GUISAN, possibly having bought her "on the stocks".
In 1957, she was sold to Idwal Williams of Cardiff and renamed GRAIGFELEN.
Sold in 1966, and initially becoming IONIC BREEZE, she was renamed KADMILOS in 1967.
In 1973 she was sold at Karachi to Gokal's Gulf Shipping Lines Group and renamed FIVE CRESCENT, and later resold in 1975 to Philippine owners and renamed NATIONAL STEEL THREE for local trading.
She eventually arrived at Kaohsiung on 24.5.79 to be broken up.
