Description:

The JEAN-TALON (ex PRINCE UNGAVA, ex FRANQUELON) was a typical canaler (i.e. small lacker designed for the Canadian Seaway). Built in UK in 1936 by Swam Hunter & Wigham Richardson(Wallsend-on-Tyne) under the name FRANQUELIN (Hull# 1517 launched April 4th and registered initialy in Newcastle). Mainly use for as a pulwood carrier and sometimes used for heavy machinery transportation.
