Description:
Greek cargovessel POPI seen at Paranagua, Brazil in november 1989.
She was built 1967 as ALAMEDA for the danish East Asiatic Company at their own yard at Nakskov. In 1979 she was sold to Greece and became TINOS, before becoming POPI in 1980.
In october 1990 she was involved in a collision at River Plate, becoming CTL, but was sold to Panama-flag owners and renamed TROPIS. That did not last long; in october 1991 she arrived at Chittagong for B/U.
