She was scrapped in June of the same year at Xinhui, so I presume she was laid up awaiting disposal. She appears to have been left with half her hatches open.

That is a great photo -- in some ways emblematic of the Southeast Asia I used to know. No offense to the photographer but I am glad this floating palace was put out of its misery
