The bow rudder (precursor of bow thrusters!) of passenger ferry “King Orry”, laid up at the Glasson Dock facilities of R. Taylor & Sons (Scrap) Ltd., Bury, September 1976. The lay-up berth was exposed at low tide, allowing the vessel to rest on the mudflat & this photo of an unusual feature to be taken.
