Thanks for posting. Remember seeing her up-close when she was on her side in Antwerpen. Part of cause for capsizing was that the heeling system was set on "auto" during cargo operation's and the system had a malfunction. After this, Grimaldi Lines banned the use of "auto" on their heeling pumps / systems.

Well, an incident is seldomly caused by one single issue. It is typically a series of causes that leads up to an incident. In this case, the failure of the auto-heeling system was one of many causes :-).

She capsized during loading/unloading activities in Antwerpen. Towed to Italy after a difficult salvage operation. Then she was repaired and put back into service
