Panama-registred TEXACO IOWA is here photographed at Philadelphia in july 1980.
This tanker was built 1959 at Kockums M/V, Malmö, and was delivered as IOWA. In 1960 almost all Texaco-vessels added TEXACO as prefix to their name, and IOWA became TEXACO IOWA.
She sailed under this name for Texaco until 30/6-1982, when she was delivered to breakers at Kaohsiung, Taiwan
