On 19-02-2002 thv Vikinge Lykt between Nesna and Ørnes machine failure due to fuel failure. After a few hours the engines are up and running again and continue on the route without any problems.
After sale in 2003 immediately back in charter.
On 23-02-2007 machine breakdown in Magerøysund during a trip from Honningsvåg to Havøysund. Went to anchor and got entangled with the anchor in a high voltage cable. After repair let anchor slip and journey continued. On 28-09-2007 in Honningsvåg during mooring with the tail lift fell on the corner of the quay. Heavy damage to the valve and temporarily taken out of service. On 15-09-2011 fire in the engine room due to an explosion near Ålesund. Two engineers were killed and 16 crew members were injured. During mooring, an extended stabilization fin caused a leak that threatened to capsize her.
Docked at Fiskarstrand Verft - Sula on 26-09-2011. Back on the route on March 27, 2012.
Totally renovated internally in April 2019.
Engine room renewed in 2023 at Myklebust Verft A/S - Gursken.
