Ellerman Lines' 1950 Vickers Armstrong, Newcastle, built CITY OF LEEDS passing Avonmouth's north pier exactly fifty years ago today, on 4th March 1973, during a voyage from Bombay to Avonmouth, Glasgow and Liverpool.
