Singapore-registred MADAME BUTTERFLY is here seen laid-up at Lyngdal in july 2009. We can also see her sistervessel CARMEN and a small part of Wilhelmsens TAPIOLA. On TAPIOLAs stb. side, but outside this photo, was also TOBA laid-up. I'm not quite sure how long they were laid up.
MADAME BUTTERFLY was built 1981 for Wallenius of Stockholm at Kockums, Malmö, as one of four identical sistervessels. She had Swedish flag until 1991, when she was transferred to Singapore flag.
In august 2014 she arrived at Jiangyin, China for demolition.
