The ATB would enter a long term lay-up a few weeks later, likely due to lack of demand.

On January 3rd, 2023, the Tugboat 'Michigan' sank in 26 feet (7 meters) water in the port of Milwaukee, WI on it's moorings. Fortunately, no one was injured, the barge 'Great Lakes' didn't sink with the Tugboat, and no oil spills were reported. As of April 6th, 2023, both the Tug and the Barge have yet to return to service.
