SAUDI AMBASSADOR finally departed from Jeddah early in April 1984 bound for Kaohsiung, calling into Singapore Roads on 11th April. Although Lloyd's Shipping Index says that she was sold to Taiwan breakers, Miramar website indicates that she was scrapped in mainland China.
