Description:

The Greek owned CHANTAL, which was built at Bremerhaven in 1936 as the trawler TANNEBERG and was converted into a dry cargo ship in 1958, is seen passing Rozenburg, inbound for Rotterdam from El Ferrol on 29th March 1975. She subsequently sailed from Rotterdam on 10th May bound for Bilbao. During April to October 1975 her ports of call included Weston Point on the Manchester Ship Canal and seven times at Sharpness, on each occasion loading scrap metal for discharge at Rotterdam. She finally sailed from Rotterdam on 29th October 1975 bound for Aruba.
