Metcalfe Shipping Co. Ltd. of Hartlepool's 1971 A&P, Hartlepool, built SD14 type DUNELMIA passing Rozenburg, inbound for Rotterdam, on 30th March 1975 during a voyage from Hamburg to Port Elizabeth while on time charter to South African Marine Corporation ("Safmarine").

On 2nd June 1993, during a voyage from Jubail to Bombay with a cargo of sulphur, she suffered flooding in her holds and engine room. After arriving at Bombay on 8th June, she was beached locally on 22nd September 1993 for scrapping.
