This FPSO is the former 'Whakaaropai', which was stationed on the Maui field, Taranaki, New Zealand.

The vessel was sold to the Blystad/Beregsen consortium in 2006, after the field ran down. New name listed as BW Endeavour.

Hi

Vessel was built in 1976 and intended to be named Ellida for K/S Ellida, Norway, but was delivered as Umm Shaif. In 1990 she was renamed Ellida until 1996 when purchased for to work in the Maui oilfield off west coast North Island, New Zealand as Whakaarapoi. With the field exhausted, she was sold to BW (Bergesen Worldwide) and after refit in Singapore from December, she will leased to Peak Petroleum and Equator Petroleum to work the Bilabri field for three years under the name BW Peace.

Cheers

Brent
