Description:

Blue Funnel Line's 1949 Vickers-Armstrong, Newcastle, built AUTOLYCUS is seen arriving at Swansea on 11th May 1973 to load cargo for Surabaya in Indonesia.

In 1974, her ownership was transferred to Elder Dempster Lines and, on 7th January 1976, following a short period trading in Nigerian National Line colours, she was laid up at Bromborough Dock, Wirral.

She was sold early in 1976 to Abbas Gokal's Gulf Shipping and, renamed GULF TRADER, arrived at Kaohsiung on 29th April 1978 to be scrapped.
