Description:

German BRUNO HORST BISCHOFF is here seen at Bergen sometime in 1974. She was built 1971 by Rolandwerft, Bremen.
In 1989 the vessel was sold to Tahiti, and renamed ARANUI. Before she sailed to the Pacific, she was rebuilt in Flensburg to combined cargo / passenger vessel for use between the islands in French Polynesia. One year lated her name was amended to ARANUI II.
She was sold in 2004 and renamed RTS SINDBAD, which was amended to RTS SINDBAD NUI later same year.
Reported sold to breakers in March 2008.
