Description:

Built at Nakskov in 1982 and seen here passing under the Forth Bridges on her way to Grangemouth in June 1987. I think she may still be sailing.

Yes, we should enjoy it while we can if the engineers are to be believed; the suspension cables are corroding and could result in at first closure to HGVs or at worst complete closure.
A new crossing has provisionally been given the go-ahead but whether this will be a bridge or a tunnel has yet to be decided. :-?
