Description:
The Panamanian steamer JOHN (1669grt/1926) moves from the lock into Victoria Dock, Hull, on 17 October 1964. Built at Rostock for Ernst Russ as HELGA L-M RUSS, the ship passed to Norway after WWII and became JOHN in 1962. Broken up at Inverkeithing in February 1970. (scanned slide)
