Delivered by Kawasaki (1272) as MARIE BAKKE to the Knutsen group, she was sold in 1980 to a company controlled by CSAV but not renamed . In 1982 she was renamed FRIJSENBORG as shown here, possibly as a consequence of a five year time-charter. Only in 1988 she adopted her CSAV name LIRCAY.
In 1991, after having been involved in a casualty, she was converted to a fully cellular container ship and lengthened. In 2002 she was sold to Chinese breakers.
