Cie. Havraise et Nantaise Peninsulaire's 1957 Marghera (Venice) built VILLE DE STRASBOURG departing from Durban in September 1969.
Ex - MARILU (Italian) - 60
Later: 1973 KYPRIS (Cie. Navale Worms) - 75 ROSE II (Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC))
On Christmas Eve in 1975, during her first voyage as ROSE II, from Genoa to Durban, she suffered several explosions, was abandoned by her crew and sank on fire.
