Yes Matt,
in general all vessel of Traffic Group (Verkehrsgruppe) 2 to 6 exceeding 45m of length, 9,5m beam and 3,1m draft (or 55m/8,5m/3,1m) have to take a pilot, vessels over 100m a canal helmsman is required.
