CARAVELLE - IMO 7125407

By Dick van der Kamp Shipsales B.V. sold to Ghana. At the Oranjewerf in Amsterdam the cement tanks were removed and later placed in the "Noblesse C". On 07.03.2005, still under the Dutch flag, towed behind the Danish tugboat “Thor”, left via Las Palmas for Banjul.

Arrived in Suez on March 31, 2009. After that nothing more is known.

Here comes the story!!

It was going to be scrapped in Ataqa, Adabiya, Egypt and the tug left it at the port anchorage

IT WAS NEVER DISMATCHED... THE CARGO SHIP WAS ABANDONED IN THE PORT

What are the doubts?

Maybe it's only me but the water line along her entire hull does not look real when enlarged, different colour and water surface all along, left to right. Would like to see it from a different angle to believe.

Dear Manfred,
just look the Google Earth maps. Vessel is partly submerged and steel in same place, about 1000 m from fishing harbour Adabiya, only hatch covers disappeared.

Of course I see the wreck on Google Maps, that was not the point. I found that the PHOTO looks unreal.

I think at a long distance with high air temperature the image will be questionable anyway.
Here one more view the Caravelle in the background:
