Headlam & Son's large tramper EGTON is here seen laid up at Hartlepool in July 1981.
This vessel was built 1962 by Bartram & Sons, Sunderland, and was of 15 069 t.dw.
From April 1977 until January 1986 she spent the years laid up at Hartlepool.
On 18/1-1986 she arrived at Naantali, Finland under tow from Hartlepool for demolition.
