There was a number of VLCC's / ULCC's (like BT Broker above) sailing in shuttle into AG / PG terminals for loading and off-load STS off Fujairah to other VLCC's (newer and hence more costly to insure inside the Gulf) during the Iran - Iraq war. We could spend some time at Fujairah in-between cargo runs. Profitable times...both for owner and us as crew...but at high risk.
Note that BT Broker has the lifeboat(s) swung out just in case - this was standard practice at the time.

BT BROKER had sailed from Ain Sukhna in Egypt on 18 April 1987 bound for Fujiarah anchorage, where she arrived on about 3rd May for orders. It seems that she was still there one month later.
