Description:
One of the many ships which passed Portishead on 18th July 1963 was Elder Dempster Lines' 1947 Hawthorn, Leslie & Co. of Hebburn (Tyneside) built SALAGA. Here she is seen in the North Sea Canal near Amsterdam.
Later: 1965 MAMFE - 68 LUCKY TRADER - 73 BEI HAI 5
Scrapped in China in about 1982
