Maybe the last photo before the disaster, departure from Bremerhaven on 25.07.2023.

The 'Fremantle Highway' caught fire en route from Bremerhaven to Singapore and Japan via Port Said with 23 Indian crew members and a cargo of 2,857 new cars on board, among them 25 electro cars, on July 26, 203, at around 12.30 a.m., more than 30 kilometers above Ameland. One crew member died after having been pulled aboard the KNRM boat from Schiemonnikoog, and several crew members were injured.

The charterer of the ship now stated that there are about 3,800 new cars aboard, almost 500 of them electro cars.... Meanwhile a secure tow line could be attached and depending on the weather and the development of smoke from the fire she will be towed to a safe anchorage 16 km north of the isle of Schiermonnikoog this weekend.

Never know when you snap a ship underway, it might be the last before it is a total loss. I hope for the speedy recovery of the remaining injured crew.
