Description:
JOKER
built in 1938 by Pickersgill for Headlam as EGTON. Sold to Atlanska Plovidba in 1957 and renamed DUBRAVA. Sold again in 1969 and renamed JOKER. Broken up in Split 2nd quarter 1976.
She was unusual as a British built tramp with a Maierform bow - seemingly an odd choice for a 10 knot steamer.
In the photo she was on a layby berth in Swansea waiting for the coal hoists to become available to load her cargo.
