A fascinating photo - many thanks for sharing it. NIKOS subsequently proceeded to Sète, but on sailing from there on 24th January 1964 she suffered engine trouble and put into Port La Nouvelle as a port of refuge. It would seem likely that she was then abandoned and sold at auction, as her next and final owner (from 1966) was G.Antonatol of Marseille. Renamed LUISA, she was scrapped at nearby La Seyne in February 1969. Meanwhile, PENELOPE L. (IMO 5105568) had arrived at Piraeus on 31st December 1963 for repairs, soon resuming to trade.
