Description:
Japanese passenger ferry IVORY MARU is here photographed at Osaka in October 1991.
She was built 1967 by Uraga Heavy Industries, Yokosuka.
In 1992 she was sold to Panama-flag owners and renamed VERGINA CITY.
On 27.07.1995 she was heavily damaged by fire while she was in Eleusis, Greece. Vessel was then condemned, and sold to Turkish breakers.
And on 15.10.1995 she arrived at breakers yard in Aliaga, Turkey.
