Union-Castle Mail S.S. Company's 1936 Belfast passenger liner STIRLING CASTLE was a memorable sight when passed in Southampton water outbound on 5th September 1963. Here she is seen inbound for Durban in December 1959.
She was sent to Japan for breaking, arriving at Mihara on 3 March 1966.
