Blue Star Line's 1950 J.Brown, Clydebank, built ADELAIDE STAR arriving at Avonmouth exactly fifty years ago today, on 9th September 1973, during a voyage from Napier (NZ) to Avonmouth via Famagusta and Piraeus.
ADELAIDE STAR finally sailed from Liverpool on 25th April 1975 in ballast bound for Masan, South Korea, for breaking. She arrived at Masan on 12th June 1975 via Cape Town.
