The Wivenhoe built hopper dredger ADMIRAL DAY, built for Dover Harbour Board in 1971, which from 1995 was owned by Great Yarmouth Port Authority, and since 2009 has been owned by Wyre Marine Services Ltd of Fleetwood, outbound in Eastham Channel on 4th September 2023
Photographed from the inbound Mersey ferry SNOWDROP, ADMIRAL DAY returned to the Manchester Ship Canal later on the same tide.
