Brazilian cargo liner LLOYD MARABA was built 1977 at Rio de Janeiro for Lloyd Brasileiro. She is here photographed on the lower part of Weser River in June 1982.

17/10-1996: Had explosion followed by fire while she was off Hiron Point, Bangladesh, when on a voyage from Singapore to Mongla. Settled on the bottom. Raised in 1999, and brought to Chittagong for demolition.
