PARIS KNUTSEN is the seventh addition to Knutsen's Shell Series, boasting a capacity of 174,000 cubic meters. These LNG carriers feature dual-fuel X-DF engines, air lubrication systems, shaft-based generators for auxiliary power, and boil-off management plants, with the reliquefication technology for the ship provided by the Finnish technology group Wärtsilä.

Knutsen ordered "PARIS KNUTSEN" in July 2021 at a reported cost of $199 million.
