WELCOME TO SHIPSPOTTING.COM
Description:
21/11/2023, Zamakona Shipyard, repairs berth, Port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Islas Canarias, Spain.
Note the scaffolding aft, which is enabling shipyard workers to repair hull damage / hull openings made to facilitate entry to the engine room - it is not known which it might be!
Vessel is berthed in a difficult spot to photograph. This is the only photo of the ship on Shipspotting, in her current guise.
One of mighty MSC's second hand purchases during 2021, as part of their spending spree that has been widely reported over the last couple of years. It seems they have been buying up older tonnage at breakneck speed.
