Brazilian BETELGEUSE is here seen in October 1997 in the lower parts of Elbe River, not far from Cuxhaven.
This ro/ro vessel was built 1992 at Rio de Janeiro.
In 1999 she was sold to other Brazilian owners, and renamed ALIANCA IPANEMA.
On 13/8-2012 she arrived at Alang, India for demolition. At arrival her flag had been changed to St. Kitts & Nevis, and name had been shortened to IPANEMA.
