Description:

The BP tanker British Tamar carrying out a stern RAS (refuelling at sea) with the frigate HMS Diomede. The British Tamar was a Ship Taken Up From Trade (STUFT) for the Falklands war and was still with the MOD in 1983. I think I took the photo early in 1983.
