Enthusiasts from Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Germany, Great Britain and others, unmentioned, are worthy of the highest respect for what they do to preserve these beautiful ships for future generations. Maintaining them in a swimmable condition requires knowledge, time and (obviously) financial outlays. I wonder why (beautiful and important) monuments related to architecture, sculpture or painting are more valuable to many of us than ships built in the past? This is very unfair.
